Pacific Gas and Electric Company, incorporated in California in 1905, is one of the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States. Based in San Francisco, the company is a subsidiary of PG&E Corporation. There are approximately 20,000 employees who carry out Pacific Gas and Electric Company's primary business—the transmission and delivery of energy. The company provides natural gas and electric service to approximately 16 million people throughout a 70,000-square-mile service area in northern and central California.

By relaying these requests, New York 811 helps protect one of the most vast, congested and complicated underground infrastructures in the nation.

Underground Safety Alliance (USA)

Underground Safety Alliance (USA) was incorporated in November 2005, as a not for profit umbrella organization for “Call Before You Dig” one call centers. The founding members were Kentucky Underground Protection Inc. (KUPI), now known as Kentucky811, and Indiana Underground Plant Protection Service Inc. (IUPPS) now known as Indiana811. 

Marathon Pipe Line, LLC

MPL transports crude oil, petroleum products and natural gas to and from terminals, refineries and other pipelines. The company safely controls the movement and delivery of an average of 120 million gallons of petroleum products daily.
